The Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary (also called the Catholic Cathedral of Belgrade is since 1988) is the Seat of the Archdiocese of Belgrade.
Built in 1938, this cathedral is the oldest Catholic place of worship in Belgrade. It features stained-glass windows depicting scenes from the life of Jesus and Mary, wooden Stations of the Cross, and altars dedicated to St. Joseph and Our Lady of Lourdes. It hosts the International Organ Festival and Early Music Festival, with Serbia’s largest and most valuable organ installed in 2000.
