The 5th Annual National Catholic Land Movement Conference, hosted once again at Edelweiss House in Greensburg, Indiana.
They will have two keynotes this year:
Jason Craig opens Friday with "Our Own Story on This Side of the Ocean: The Catholic Land Movement in America."
Dale Ahlquist follows Saturday with "Localism, the Land, and G.K. Chesterton."
There will be three days of practical workshops on land, livestock, and hand crafts. Talks on the history and principles behind the movement. The Divine Office prayed throughout the weekend, including Vespers and Prime. Confessions Saturday morning. And a closing talk and Holy Mass Sunday at Saint Philomena and Cecilia Oratory in Brookville.
They are also offering an off-site farm tour Friday morning at Cottage Pastures -- the Winters family's 26-acre regenerative farm in Vevay. This will be open house style, for anyone arriving early.
Families are welcome. We’ll have dedicated activities for children, young men, and young ladies all weekend.
Note: here are now 100 chapters of the Land Movement, with new ones in England, Australia, Spain, and Italy. More are in formation every month.
