Catholic Grandparents online Faith Cafe

All Day
March 12, 2024

We are delighted to invite you to our March Faith Café with our Special Renowned Guest, Archbishop Kieran O'Reilly. For those not familiar with Ireland, Archbishop O'Reilly is one of only four Archbishops on the island. He was born in Cork and entered the Novitiate of the Society of African Missions in Wilton, Cork.

Archbishop O'Reilly later attended courses in philosophy and theology and earned a diploma in Missionary Studies.Following ordination, he served two years in pastoral ministry in the Archdiocese of Monrovia, Liberia. After being awarded a licentiate from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome he was appointed Professor of Biblical Studies at the Major Seminary of Saints Peter and Paul in Ibada, Nigeria. (see full bio below)

He was appointed Bishop of the Diocese of Killaloe in 2010. In 2014 Pope Francis appointed him as Archbishop of the Diocese of Cashel and Emly.

We are blessed to have Archbishop Kieran speak to us this month on "Grandparents Called to be Missionary Disciples" as he follows in the footsteps of the great Missionary St. Patrick whom we celebrate this month on St. Patrick's Day on March 17th, when the whole world is Irish.

Archbishop O'Reilly is known as a great scholar. We also know and love him as a great supporter of the CGA and a total joy to share his company. You don't want to miss this month's Faith Café!

The Zoom meeting will begin at 7.30PM local time in UK,  3:30 PM East Coast in the U.S.

Please check the time difference for where you are to avoid missing out.
