The world's tallest church is about to get its crown.
On June 10, 2026, exactly 100 years after Antoni Gaudí's death, the Sagrada Família will inaugurate the four-armed cross atop the Tower of Jesus Christ.
Pope Leo XIV will visit Barcelona on June 10 to bless the Sagrada Família’s final tower, coinciding with the anniversary of Gaudí’s death.
Despite the tower’s completion, construction on the Glory Façade and other elements is projected to continue until at least 2034.
