Today is the Feast of Mary Help of Christians. This Feast goes back to 1571, when the whole of Christendom was saved by Mary Help of Christians when Catholics throughout Europe prayed the Rosary.

The title first used by St. John Chrysostom, associated with the defense of Christian Europe from Islamic invasion during the Middle Ages, and famously loved by St. John Bosco.
