About Mary Undoer of Knots Byzantine Catholic Shrine:
The Shrine, located in Mount Lemmon…50 miles northeast of Tucson… is an outreach of St. Melany Byzantine Church and its pastor, Father Robert Rankin in Tucson. The Byzantine Catholic Church is in communion with Rome, but uses the Byzantine Liturgy.
Among the many interesting features are the Veteran’s Memorial, a Liberty Bell crafted by the sons of Paul Revere, a guest house for visiting priests and others and, of course, the chapel.
