About Manhattan, Kansas:

If ever there was a college town, Manhattan, Kansas would certainly qualify for that title (with exception that is not a town, it is a city). There are at least 10 colleges serving the area, including four private colleges and universities, three public colleges and universities, and two community colleges offering 2-year degrees. The largest of these is Kansas State University, where you will find St. Isidore’s Catholic Center.

About St. Isidore’s Catholic Student Center in Manhattan, Kansas:

How many parents, after having raised their children Catholic, are saddened when the return from college (even some so-called “Catholic” colleges or universities) as avowed atheists…or at the very least dismissive of the Catholic Church and her teachings?  St. Isidore’s Catholic Center offers an opportunity for college students to grow in their faith along with their secular education.

The Sanctuary at St. Isidore’s Catholic Center is reminiscent of the cathedrals in Europe, just on a smaller scale. Daily Masses plus confessions and adoration. It is an active parish….open to all…but naturally students make up the majority of the congregation……except, of course during football season….when people travel from all over to attend the games and also attend Mass.
