Novi Sad is the second-largest city in Serbia. Located on the Danube River, it’s a significant cultural and economic center, often referred to as the “Serbian Athens”.

Church of the Holy Name of MaryBuilt in 1895 and is the largest church in the city. It was built in Neo-Gothic style with a characteristic bell tower in the main façade.

Traveling to Novi Sad, Serbia:

The nearest major city is Belgrade.  From there  you can take a train to Novi Sad. Trains take about an hour, although some fast trains take quite a bit less.  Novi Sad does not have a airport, the nearest airport is Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport (code BEG).
