About Holy Spirit Church in Budapest:
The church was designed by a renowned organist….and so, naturally, much interest revolve around the organ. There are regularly scheduled recitals in addition to the music played at Mass.
In one of the chapels….. “The Chapel of the Mamertini Crucifix”….. you will find a copy of the crucifix that is attributed to Saints Peter and Paul when the were imprisoned in the Mamertine Prison in Rome. The original was here at one time, but disappeared or disintegrated (depending upon which story you here).
Mass is in English on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and tea reception afterward. Reconciliation is just before Mass 4:30 to 4:50.
