Traveling with Children

Don’t let the idea of traveling with children rob you of a great experience.  Sure, there can be problems…and yes, you may not be able to do everything you want or spend as much time doing it….but the blessings that come with creating this experience far outweigh the drawbacks.

So don’t put off traveling just because someone says “wait until they are old enough to remember”.  Even if the kids don’t remember much, you will bring back some fond memories as well as some interesting stories to tell.  Do it now.

Here are a few pages that will help you make the experience more pleasurable.

For those flying out of the country, be sure each child has a passport….and if you are the non-custodial parent (or grandparent) you will need a letter giving you permission to take the child out of the country. Easch country has its own rules, so check with your own government.  And don’t try to avoid it…..airlines and cruise lines take this seriously and will deny your boarding (they will get fined if they don’t).
