About the Byzantine Catholic Church:
The Byzantine Catholic Church is an Eastern Rite Church in full communion with Rome. The slavic people of Eastern Europe were converted by two Greek priests, Saints Cyril and Methodius in the 9th Century, and follow the Liturgy of Constantinople, which is the birthplace of the Byzantine Church.
About Saint Nicholas of Myrna Byzantine Catholic Church:
The church was named for St. Nicholas of Myra, patron of travelers and who is also patron of the Byzantine Church. The church welcomes visitors here not only from other parts of the U.S. but from all over the world.
Within the church is the Shrine of St. Nicholas. It contains an Icon of St. Nicholas that is over 300 years old and comes from Russia. All are invited to come to St. Nicholas Church to visit the Shrine of St. Nicholas.
