Olympia, Washington: Shrine of Our Lady of Perpetual Help at Saint George the Great Byzantine Catholic Church
The Byzantine Catholic Church is in full communion with Rome, but uses the Byzantine Rite. The first Marian shrine in the State of Washington, Our Lady of Perpetual Help is located on the grounds of Saint George the Great Byzantine Catholic Church here in Olympia.
A pilgrimage is held every year in honor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. This three-day event is one of the highlights of their year. It is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the company of fellow Catholics, guests are welcome!
The Pilgrimage is held in August, so check their website for the exact dates.
The Shrine is open daily.
The Sunday worship schedule is:
9:30 a.m. confessions (as well as a liturgical hour, followed by Rosary). Divine Liturgy (Mass) at 10:30 a.m.
