Miami, Florida: The Gesu Church

About the Gesu Church in Miami:

Gesù is the oldest Catholic Church in all of South Florida, founded in April of 1896, which was before the City of Miami was incorporated. It is one of the few institutions that preserve the history of the city.  Many generations of the military received the Sacraments here: from the Spanish-American War in 1898, to the soliders returning from World War I in 1917, and during World War II in the 1940’s.

Daily Mass is offered, and is a great place to attend if you are about to depart on a cruise….or if you are just returning from one.
