The Carmelite Daughters of St. Elias (also called the Daughters of Saint Eliae) are a semi‑contemplative Carmelite community in Cincinnati, Ohio, following the Carmelite Rule of St. Albert. They are dedicated to prayer, service to the poor, catechesis, and youth outreach, including animal‑assisted mentoring programs.
They combine contemplative life with active apostolates, serving children, families, and the poor in Cincinnati. The Carmelite Daughters of St. Elias represent a growing Carmelite presence focused on contemplative prayer and hands‑on service to vulnerable populations in Cincinnati.
Their Mission and Apostolate is:

♦ Teaching catechism at multiple local parishes and a Catholic school.
♦ Providing food, clothing, and support to the homeless and families in crisis.
