Dominating the main square of Noto, The Cathedral of San Nicolò (Saint Nicholas) is an imposing and majestic building, built in late Baroque style between 1693 and 1703. The cathedral has two bell towers, a monumental staircase and a central portal surmounted by a pediment.

The interior of the cathedral is a Latin cross plan and includes many paintings, frescoes and sculptures.
