Rimini (population approximately 150,000) is a vibrant coastal city in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, right on the Adriatic Sea. It’s one of the country’s most popular seaside destinations, especially among Italians, blending 9+ miles (15 km) long sandy beaches , lively nightlife, excellent food, and a surprisingly rich historical center with ancient Roman roots.

It is also the birthplace of the famous director Federico Fellini.

While many visitors come for sun, sea, and nightlife, Rimini offers much more than just a beach resort: its old town has impressive Roman and Renaissance heritage….and, of course several places of interest for Catholics.
