About The Cathedral of Saint-Etienne in Toulouse:
The cathedral was built over four centuries, and as a result the architectural design was radically transformed. You enter the cathedral by the Nave, known as the Raymondine Nave, which is built in a Southern European Gothic style, with its large single nave. The second part of the building is made up of a large choir and was built in Northern European Gothic style, to rival the greatest cathedrals.
The cathedral houses interesting decorative features, including stained glass windows, tapestries, paintings, a large rose window, a magnificent grand organ set 17 metres high, and 17 side chapels.
