About the Shrine of All Saints in Morton Grove:

This Shrine contains over 1500 relics of such well-known saints as St Denis (first Bishop of Paris), Saint Therese of Lisieux, Anne Catherine Emmerich, Saint Martha of Bethany, and many others (both well-known and lesser-known) as well. For a complete list of relics check out their website.

There is an excellent gift shop here where you can purchase a 6″ x 8″ famed tile depicting St. Martha of Bethany, a copy of the original oil painting by artist Patrick O’Hara from the parish. There are also 2″ x 3″ refrigerator magnets available depicting the same subject.

Also for sale are copies of “Relics In the Shrine of All Saints at St. Martha of Bethany Church in Morton Grove, Illinois” by Fr. Dennis B. O’Neill. The book is an illustrated survey of the relics in the church. It explains what the relics are and what place they have in the spirituality of the Church. It also reveals which particular people preserved these relics through the centuries and provides a self-guided tour of the church in the final chapter.
