About The National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows:

The Shrine is administered by Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, is visited by over one million pilgrims each year. With over 200 acres of land, it is one of the country’s largest outdoor shrines.  The Lourdes Grotto is particularly interesting, being a full-sized replica of the shrine in Lourdes, France.

It is dedicated to the Basilica of Saint Mary Major in Rome, that is also known as Our Lady of the Snows.

 

 

The Shrine is open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

There is a range of religious activities offered for both Catholics and non-Catholics.  Be sure to check the official website for the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows for the wide range of scheduled activities that include daily Masses, healing services, reconciliation and special.

 

In addition the Shrine has a restaurant, lodging, gift shop and conference center.
