About Our Lady of La Salette & the Shrine in Attleboro:

The apparitions of Our Lady in La Salette, France in 1846 led to the founding of a religious order: the Missionaries of La Salette.

Among their many good works is their development of the shrine here in Massachusetts.

It is a place for retreats, both public and private, as well as offering daily Masses, Rosary and Reconciliation to the public. The outdoor Stations of the Cross are a popular feature. A great place for peaceful meditation whether Catholic or not.

The gift shop at the Shrine is well stocked an worth a visit. There is a cafeteria open to groups (advance reservation required) as well.

One of its many famous attractions is the magnificent Christmas Festival of Lights, featuring concerts and other event in addition to the lighted statues and artifacts that are located on the grounds of the Shrine. Many people make this an annual tradition and it is one not to be missed.
