Sedona, Arizona: Chapel of the Holy Cross

About the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona:

Both the architecture and location of this wayside retreat are unique. Perched atop the mountains, and appearing to be built into the rock, it is a wonderful place for prayer and reflection. Designed by Marguerite Brunswig Staude, a pupil of Frank Lloyd Wright, it was completed in 1956.

It is one of the most unique sites in the State of Arizona, offering panoramic views of God’s handiwork and a quiet place for prayer and reflection.  The Chapel offers Adoration, Confession and Mass (see their website below for details)

The Chapel of the Holy Cross is open every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas, Good Friday and Easter.

There is a gift shop here offering many unique items.
