The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) will consecrate the nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 12, 2026, coinciding with the nation's 250th anniversary, to foster Gospel values and Christ's kingship in the country. The official act will occur on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart with prayer resources, including a novena, planned for parishes to join in this dedication.
The USCCB invites all parishes and faithful to participate through prayer resources (novena) and acts of devotion, recognizing Christ's kingship and renewing faith.
This initiative aims to highlight the role of faith in American history and encourage a spiritual renewal in line with Gospel teachings.
