Anniversary celebration of the apparitions of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Medjugorje

On June 25, 1981 five children in the (formerly) Yuglsavia village of Medjugorje had an apparition of Our Lady, where she greeted them as "The Queen of Peace" She had appeared to them the day before to them, but had not spoken. Celebrations are held in Medjugorje each year on this date, and thousands of pilgrims visit the town.
