Feast of Saints Constantine and Saint Helena

All Day -

Constantine was the son of Caesar Constantius Chlorus and Saint Helena, a Christian of humble birth.

Constantine legalized the practice of Christianity and ordered a magnificent church in honor of Christ's Resurrection to be built over His tomb here in Jerusalem.

Saint Helen made a pilgrimage to Jerusalem where tradition claims she found The True Cross and built the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher.  She also helped find other relics of Our Lord.

Saint Helena is the patron saint of archaeologists, converts, difficult marriages, divorced people, empresses, Saint Helena Island, and new discoveries
