Abu Dhabi is the capital city of the United Arab Emirates (often referred to simply as The UAE). Traveling to Abu Dhabi:

Almost all visitors arrive bay air to  Zayed International Airport (Code AUH).   In December  2024, Dhabi the airport won the title of “World’s Most Beautiful Airport” at the Prix Versailles, a prestigious award for architecture and design. The award recognized its impressive architectural design in the Airports category.

Abu Dhabi City is connected to the second phase of the Etihad Rail network, completed in 2023, for freight operations across the seven emirates. Passenger traffic has been planned and will allow for travel from Abu Dhabi city to other emirates on the network; however, no date on commencement of operation has been set.
