About Albuquerque:

In the early 1700s, Spanish settlers arrived  Rio Grande Valley and established Albuquerque.  It one of the oldest cities in the U.S. and has some great examples of Spanish church architecture.

With a large Catholic population and such a rich Catholic history, you will find many churches here in Albuquerque.  A few of the most interesting are:

San Felipe de Neri Church (first church in Albuquerque, 1706)
