About the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Anchorage, Alaska:
As the Catholic community in Anchorage continued to grow, the need became apparent for a larger structure to replace what is now called “Our Lady of Guadalupe Old Cathedral”.
In 2005, construction of the current church began, marking a key milestone in the community’s spiritual journey. This project was made possible by the generous support of parishioners and donors who recognized the need for a new worship space.
