Stockholm, Sweden

Catholic history of Stockholm, Sweden:

Stockholm was elevated to the Diocese of Stockholm in 1953 and now covers the entire country of Sweden.  Although still a minority the number of Catholics in Sweden has grown, largely due to immigration, in the 20th and 21st centuries.  As a result, many churches offer services in multiple languages to cater to what is now a diverse population.
