Catholic Places of Interest in Panama
One of the most stable countries in central America, Panama is of course famous for the Panama Canal, a wonder of its time. The country has a population of a little under four million, with a large percentage of those living in and around Panama City.
It is estimated that up to 85% percent of the population is Catholic, so you will find many Catholic churches from which to choose. And, of course, with World Youth Day 2019 set for Panama, there will be a great deal of interest in many of these churches.
