About Bolivia:
Bolivia was part of the Incan empire until the Spanish started colonising the region 16th century and became part of Spain. Bolivia gained independence from Spain in 1825 and is named after South American freedom fighter Simón Bolivar. Due to the Spanish influence, Catholicism became the predominant religion and still is today.
