About the Carmelite Convent of the Annunciation in Alba de Tormes:

Born in 1515, Saint Terese of Avila was, as the name suggests, born in Avila, Spain.  She went on to found over a half-dozen convents in her effort to reform the Carmelite order.  The convent here in Alba de Tomres, (now a museum) contains relics of this saint:  her incorrupt heart and left arm are displayed here.
