Pope Leo XIV has granted a Guadalupan Jubilee Year from October 12, 2026, to October 12, 2027, to mark the 50th anniversary of the dedication of the new Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City and the transfer of the sacred image to the current shrine.
The Jubilee commemorates two key events:
