Feast of the dedication of the Basilica of St. Mary Major

One of the main Basilicas in Rome, the feast of the dedication of Saint Mary Major this is accompanied by a spray of white roses falling from the ceiling each year on this date, to simulate the miraculous snowfall on August 5, 352 AD.
