Rail strikes across Great Britain

Tuesday will see the first of four days of rail strikes this week, with further action on Wednesday 14, Friday 16 and Saturday 17 December, led by the Transport Salaried Staffs’ Association (TSSA) and Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) unions.

The strikes will affect Network Rail and 14 major operators. Significant disruption can be expected across the country, with 80 per cent of services likely to be cancelled on strike days. There will be a knock-on effect on the days following strike action.
