About the National Shrine of the Immaculate Heart of Mary:

Under the auspices of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, otherwise known as the Claretian Missionaries, their presence here dates from 1923. The Shrine itself was begun in 1947 and took two years to complete.

Masses are offered several times daily, and many times on Sundays, so check their website from Mass times.
