Rome: The Church of Santa Susanna (the American church in Rome)

The Church of Santa Susanna has, until 2017, been known as the American church in Rome and is a parish for English-speaking people living in Rome.

It is also a wedding venue for many people wishing to be married in Rome.

Due to problems discovered in June 2013 (wood items falling from the ceiling), the Church regrettably has been closed to the public; however,

As of August 1, 2017, the parish is moving to Saint Patrick’s Church on Via Boncompagni No. 31, one block from the American Embassy.

All weekend Masses are in English and include music familiar to American Catholics.
